ICF Local Partner of Society for Ecological Restoration Conference
World renowned experts on ecological restoration will gather at Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin on the afternoon of October 6 to launch the 5th World Conference on Ecological Restoration, “Reflections on the Past, Directions for the Future.” Local partners include the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum, The Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, the Aldo Leopold Foundation, and the International Crane Foundation.

Artists and Students KeepSafe Endangered Species
New York artist Paola Bari has combined forces with the Trevor Zoo in Millbrook, New York and local businesses around the Hudson Valley to form the KeepSafe Project in support of cranes and other endangered species.
Audubon Gala Honors Leading Conservationists with Top Environmental Awards
Riding on Bette Midler’s wings, The National Audubon Society soared last night, Jan. 17, at the Plaza Hotel in New York. For the first time, the organization awarded two of the nation’s most prestigious environmental honors on the same night: the inaugural Dan W. Lufkin Prize for Environmental Leadership and the Audubon Medal.
George Archibald, co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, received the first Lufkin Prize and its $100,000 award, and philanthropist Louis Bacon received the esteemed Audubon Medal.
ICF Awarded Museums for America Program Grant
The International Crane Foundation (ICF) was recently awarded a $71,410 Museums for America Program Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to design and implement a management system for its collection of more than 35,000 digital assets.

On Saturday, June 23 from 5 – 8 PM the International Crane Foundation (ICF), located on Shady Lane Road between Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells, will be hosting its 3rd Evening with the Cranes to kick off the summer season and to raise awareness about the conservation work ICF is accomplishing around the world.
