Harry retired as president of Western State College of Colorado in 2002, a position he assumed in 1996. He served as an administrator at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay; Chief of Staff to the Chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; Deputy Chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities; and Vice President for University Relations and Development at the University of Idaho. He now consults with college and university presidents and system presidents, and has conducted presidential evaluations for the State University of New York. His clients include the State University of New York, Holyoke Community College, the University of Wisconsin System Administration, the University of Wisconsin Colleges and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a 2004 recipient of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Education, Alumni Achievement Award. He received a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University, a master’s degree from University of California-Berkeley, post graduate training at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, and a Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Education Policy Studies.
