Yes, even our Whooping Crane mascot Hope goes to the doctor! Hope will get a checkup at the Mesker Park Zoo’s Teddy Bear Clinic on Sunday, Jan. 26. The clinic is free with zoo admission. Registration is not required.
Meet at the Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area Visitor Center at 9 a.m. and join in a caravan to see the birds that live in Goose Pond this time of year, including our overwintering cranes. This field trip is co-lead by Lee Sterrenburg of the Friends of Goose Pond and Sassafras Audubon Society members.
