Join us to learn about our Indiana Whooping Cranes! Our Whooping Crane Outreach staff will lead a program on how to identify Whooping and Sandhill Cranes, the history of their decline and return, and where you may see these wonderful birds in Indiana. The program will begin at 9 a.m. Central time at Oakland City Public Library in Oakland City, Indiana, and last one hour. Afterward, we will gather together for a caravan over to Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge to see the cranes! Plan for caravanning to take up to 45 minutes to the refuge, plus however much time you want to watch the cranes. Come join the flock and become a Craniac!
