• An art auction of crane paintings by famous kindergarten artists.

• An inspirational (or at least amusing) Crane Dance.
Join the Fond du Lac Audubon Society for their February evening presentation with our Crane Research Coordinator Anne Lacy, who will talk about the successes and challenges of reintroducing Whooping Cranes in Wisconsin. The presentation will be held at the Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac. From National Avenue, turn into parking lot O and enter door O-1. Classrooms are on your left. The presentation will be in room O-104. Audubon programs are open to the public with no admission fee.

Festival highlights include a presentation and My Life with Cranes book signing by our Co-founder George Archibald on Friday, Feb. 23, from 9 to 10 a.m. George also will be on the Friday afternoon boat tour. In addition, our President and CEO Rich Beilfuss will speak on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Stop by our booth at the Civic Center, where you can learn more about Whooping Cranes and our global programs, while browsing our unique merchandise from our headquarter’s gift shop! Our Whooping Crane mascot Hope will be making guest appearances at various locations throughout the festival.
