Classroom and Youth Group Adopt-a-Crane

Adopt-a-Crane packet

The International Crane Foundation’s headquarters in Baraboo, Wisconsin includes the world’s only collection of all 15 species of cranes.  At our facility, we care for over 100 individual cranes, including more than 30 Endangered Whooping Cranes.

You can help us care for our cranes by adopting a crane species! Your $100 adoption will help us provide our cranes with food, water, and veterinary care for one year.

Crane species available for adoption include a Whooping Crane, Sandhill Crane, Grey Crowned Crane, or a crane chick.

As an adoptive classroom or youth group, you will receive:

  • Crane species fact sheet, photo, and poster (18″ x 24″)
  • Adoption certificate
  • One-year subscription to our quarterly newsletter, The Bugle
  • The opportunity to have a positive impact on the world by helping care for our crane flock.

Adopting a crane for your classroom or youth group is easy! Click on the buttons above to complete the adoption form and receive your packet in the mail (or save us shipping costs and pick it up the day of your field trip to the International Crane Foundation). Please let us know in advance if you would like to have your packet available for pick-up the day of your visit.

Thank you for your support!
