Professional photographer, Tom Lynn, documented a “prairie year” at ICF beginning in June 2011, photographing acres of magnificent native plants and panoramas. He is a storyteller with a lens — helping us explore ICF’s connection to ecosystem restoration — efforts that began over 30 years ago to restore prairie, savanna, wetland, and woodland communities at our headquarters in Wisconsin (learn more about our restoration efforts and view a slide show of Tom’s photos).
Tom’s captivating photos are on exhibit at ICF’s Donnelley Family Education Center in our exhibit, BLOOM: The Story of Ecosystem Restoration at ICF, through October 2013.
The companion book to BLOOM (left) includes 53 stunning color photos along with essays from ICF Co-founder Dr. George Archibald, ICF Director of Field Ecology Jeb Barzen, ICF Burn Boss Anne Lacy, and Tom himself – each sharing their unique and intimate perspective of this special ecosystem.
