Whooping Crane Updates: A Week in the Life
What is it like to raise a Whooping Crane? Each summer, a select group of interns join ICF to work with our Whooping Crane reintroduction program. The interns spend long days in crane costumes with the crane chicks, giving them a perfect “bird’s eye” view of the cranes’ behaviors.
