cranes of the world2014 200ICF's Cranes of the World Festival on Saturday, August 9, 2014 offers family-friendly guided tours, arts and crafts, and more at our headquarters in Baraboo, WI! Humorist and educator David Stokes will share his live animals, songs, and stories at 10 & 11 am and 1 & 2 pm. Lunch will be available for purchase from Friends of Muraviovka Park. "Drop in on Cranes" at Devils Lake State Park 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

“Drop in on Cranes” with an ICF Naturalist at Devils Lake State Park (Baraboo, WI) on August 23. Learn about the endangered Whooping Crane, North America's tallest bird, and the work being done to protect them. Test out your flight feathers; touch crane feathers, bones, legs, and eggs; try to outsmart a Sandhill Crane; take a ‘tiptoe’ walk; and practice building a nest of your own. Activities will take place on the North Shore Beach by the Chateau from 1-3 p.m.
