ICF Bird-a-thon (April 1 - June 30)

Calling all bird enthusiasts! No matter your skill level, you can participate in the ICF Bird-a-thon and help support our global conservation programs. Choose one 24-hour period between April 1st and June 30th to bird for as long or as short as you wish. Our most dedicated bird watchers and fund raisers will be eligible to win prizes. Nelson Institute Earth Day Conference 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Whooping Cranes - Back from the Brink 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm

Join ICF naturalists at the Sauk County Earth Day celebration for a mini-workshop focusing on the endangered Whooping Crane. During the workshop you will learn about the natural history of Whooping Cranes, current reintroduction efforts, ICF's captive breeding techniques, and participate in hands-on activities.

Saving Cranes: Watchdogs of the Future - Beacons of Hope 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

National Geographic - Exploring Mars: Rovers of the Red Planet 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

A dynamic engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Kobie Boykins takes the audience inside the world of 21st-century space exploration, showing how NASA scientists and engineers tackle a wide range of challenges that include an extremely harsh environment, great distance, remote technology and a largely unexplored terrain. Stop by ICF's booth during the event for more information about volunteer opportunities, events, and to learn about our global conservation efforts.
