Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the International Crane Foundation (ICF). Our education department, staff and volunteers would be delighted to share the story of ICF and the world’s 15 crane species with you and your group. Adult groups are organized groups usually associated with colleges/universities, private organizations, motor coaches, family reunions, civic clubs, regional organizations, etc.
Our education department, staff and volunteers have extensive experience leading group tours and want to provide you with a tour that is both educational and enjoyable.
Standard tours include an introductory video and a guided tour of our live crane exhibits. During your tour, your group will have an opportunity to observe the 15 crane species; learn about crane biology; investigate the current threats to crane survival; discover methods used to conserve endangered species; and learn about ICF’s international work and initiatives.
We would be glad to modify the tour to enhance your group’s experience. Please let our staff know of your specific needs and interests when you request a reservation.
If you would like other activities, additional fees may apply. Examples of other activities that may include an additional charge include extended interpretive tours, guided hikes, seed collecting opportunities, radio telemetry demonstrations, discussions with crane care specialists or crane biologists, and presentations.
